Global Consulting and Mechanical Services (GCMS) has secured the parts and service agreement for Khartoum North Gas Turbine Power Station working with the Sudanese Thermal Power Generating Company Ltd (STPG) in Khartoum, Sudan. GCMS is the first American company to win a service contract in 27 years.
STPG is responsible for O&M for all of the power plants in Sudan, including heavy fuel, coal-fired boilers, gas turbines, and diesel engines.
GCMS will be supplying parts and expert technical services on their fleet of Pratt Whitney FT8-3 gas turbines and BOP.
